Saturday, October 3, 2009: After two weeks of intense preparation, eleven students from Cook Martial Arts traveled to Columbus, Georgia to compete in the 19th Annual Southern Open National Martial Arts Championship presented by Young S. Won. All eleven walked away with no less than 3rd place in each of their respective events, earning the school an impressive 14 trophies and a compliment from Mrs. Amy Won, wife of Young S. Won, on the school's mastery of basic karate techniques.
